If you’re a Parkwood resident, you’re invited to the Parkwood Park Committee’s 3rd neighborhood-wide meeting of the 2010–2011 year on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Epiphany. Important information about Parkwood Park and the East Lake traffic circle will be presented and will be a continuation of the info presented at the March 10, 2011 meeting. In addition to these progress updates, you’ll be introduced to the new PGC officers who will serve you for the 2011 – 2012 membership year. There will also be a short presentation at the beginning given by neighbor and Fernbank Elementary 5th grader David Ordway on urban coyotes – the results of his International Baccalaureate project. If you are interested in the PGC, the Park restoration, and/or the East Lake traffic circle landscaping changes, then this is your time to come participate in the discussion, provide input, and learn about the changes planned. Don’t miss out on this opportunity and mark your calendars! For more information, contact Park Chair Sheri Kennedy (contact info below).
