Begun October 2010, these photo galleries represent the green beginnings of a Parkwood Park Pictorial Plant Inventory. The goals of creating such an inventory are twofold: 1) to chronicle as many species within the Park as possible on an ongoing basis, and 2) to aid others in identification of any tree, shrub, vine, herb, fern, or fungus encountered in the Park. This project aspires to provide baseline data on Parkwood Park’s changing plant communities and will hopefully prove useful as our restoration plan progresses. Plus it’s fun to discover, identify, and photograph plants in the Park! Please keep checking back often as new species are found and new photos uploaded.
