Native Strawberry Bush (Euonymus americanus)
Both “bad” invasive plants and “good” native plants were marked by volunteers in preparation for October 16th’s Parkwood Park Cleanup Day. Examples of desirable native vines, shrubs, and trees were marked to illustrate flora that will become visible and enjoyable after removal of invasives that choke out and compete with native species.
